Volt Meter Questions. URGENT!!

so instead of starting a new thread, anybody know how accurate the meter is on the pioneer HUs? I have an 800PRS and I was just wondering.

get long pieces of wire from ur batts neg and pos and read the DMM while u have the head decks voltage meter on. then u can compare just a suggestion

If you have no battery in the back and want to measure voltage where would you hook up the positive and negative of the meter?

the only other batt u have under the hood would be a good spot since there is nothing else helpin the electrical. read it from the source then i would guess

Would at the amp work too? Like just sticking it in the terminal with the power wire?

Is voltage at the amp and the battery the same or different?

well if you want to meausre drop at the amp connect it at the amp. thats where i would meaure voltage drop to make sure my amps getting enough voltage. yes you can stick the wires in to the +- of the amp

Honestly it probably won't make much of a difference where you mount it.

x2 even if you mount it up front it will only be off by a fraction of a volt .

They missed you at the car show today. I'm sure you heard about it by now. It sucked that they couldn't demo their cars. It was more for show cars.
