Hey everyone. My teammate on th ebasketball team has an old pontiac capriece I think...and he has two 5'' TV's he wants to install in the headrests. I have seen several online kits that do not actually put the TV "IN" the headrest they attach to the back instead. I need some recommendations on where I can get a kit, and which kit you would use, actually cutting out part of the headrest and having the screen flushly mounted in there or having it stand up off the back of the head rest and inch or so and not having to cut out the headrest. What kind of RCA's, FM modulators, etc. will I need to run a VCR's video to these two TV's? Thanks for the help guys. I'm not an installer but my friend ask me to help him out, and I enjoy challenges and learning more about the car audio/mobile video world. Thanks.

I am sure kits are available if you did a web search or even ebay or something. The screens I purchased came with the panel to inset so I can not really say to much. I have, however, made fiberglass housings for them before and been fairly well please with them If you have any skill with that it is an easy job even for a starter.

I did not actually fiberglass it to the head rest. I made an enclosure for it and an aluminum backplate for support. I put the backplate in after cutting away the hole for the fiberglass housing and then used the lip created on the housing to hold the enclosure to the backplate. Even made connectors ont he fiberglass housing so the screen could be more easily installed.
