you said the gain was at 4 volts? if i did the math right it should be at just over 38

On hifonics, on one side of the gain knob is .2v, the other 9v. He means hes guessing it in the middle of those, being around 4v, not set with a dmm.

Hows about Subsonic, Bass Boost and Lowpass adjustments? Long thread here, for a refresher: Single type-r in a ported box,2.0cu.ft.@35Hz,with a Hifonics bx1000d amp. Wondering about settings on the amp for this set-up.

No bass boost, Subsonic somewhere around 30-35 (not too far below your tuning), lowpass at around 60-80HZ

The minimum setting on the subsonic filter is 15 Hz and the maximum is 35 Hz. So at 35 hz it is turned all the way up to the max, Is this right?

Yes setting it to 35hz would mean turning the dial to 35.
