type r vs. xplod help me choose

What are you saying? Im just trying to tell him that the rockford wire is good stuff. I have 2 runs in my car and have had no issues with power consumption or voltage loss through it. I think my 4g is fused for 120a from rockford, its thick as shit. Dont they usually fuse it for the max current?
yay i got something right hahah

im not saying its bad at all. It would probably work good for the op.

The length of the wire is a very important factor...the longer the wire, the less current it can draw safely.

So I'm new to the subwoofer area, currently I am trying to decide whether to get xplods or type r's. I want to put 2 12s in the back of my grand marquis. I heard that with the setup I have, the xplods will probably sound as good as the type r's because im not going into "extream power." I just want something that will sound nice and loud but im not looking for like the craziest thing.
Here are the xplods I would get

Here are the type r's

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-+12%26quot%3B+Dual-Voice-Coil+4-Ohm+Subwoofer/7057383.p?id=1108124880979&skuId=7057383

Heres the alpine amp

Thanks for your help!

dont bpay that much for sony, I will sell you 2 12" older sony xplods (red 1200 watt) and a overrated 3500 watt amp (will pound 2 sonys no prob) $260 shipped

any recommendations on what I should get by any chance? Also any place that I could order the parts? thanks
I wouldn't get either of those. Get 2 12 Cvx of ebay for $139 a piece, and put them in Kickers recommended Spl Box. Get a Hifonics bxi1610d and just match whatever subs you get to the amp. You could run 3 Brutus/Zeus 12's or 3 Cvr 12's off the bxi1610d. Also look at 2 of the Pioneer Ts-w3002d2.

troll?

its been all good had it like this for a long *** time, i was running a sundown 1200d then a audioque 1200d along with my kicker 4 ga. i had 100 and blew the fuse . i went with 150 and everything is fine. i know what im doin
unless you're run of wire is like 6 feet or less, then that's not fine. If a 10 amp fuse blew in your fusebox, would you replace it with a 15 amp one?
