type r vs. xplod help me choose

So I'm new to the subwoofer area, currently I am trying to decide whether to get xplods or type r's. I want to put 2 12s in the back of my grand marquis. I heard that with the setup I have, the xplods will probably sound as good as the type r's because im not going into "extream power." I just want something that will sound nice and loud but im not looking for like the craziest thing.

you can get alot better stuff with out buyin that crap bro. good luck i say hold your money hang around here for a few weeks. ask a few qustions and see where your at by late jan

i just hope this kid dont go ahead and go in to best buy and spend close to 500 and think his sh it is the best thing around town. i know if he got a audioque 1200d and lets say even a kicker l7 tune to like 34hz that would b a nice start.

dont waste your money yet. for 230 you can get a brand new aq amp putting out 1200 at 1 ohm pwns alpine and for 200 you can get a really nice 12. alpines are alright but there is alot others out there. like the man said look around on here for a while befor you buy anything

aq or audio pipe would be a great amp for you...im not really a fan of the l7s. Not sure on subs for you though...check out the lvl 3 maybes? might be a little much though

take the pricing down now plz, i know its not a huge deal, but please respect the discount you are getting and not share with everyone. just like teams dont disclose their pricing, you shouldnt show yours either
