type r vs. xplod help me choose

im sure u might get lucky and they do a ok job. mayb u can see if anyone on here lives near u and they can help u out. im sure 90% of the people on here would do it for like 20.00 or mayb a 12pack lol. please look at your car or trucks electrical if your gona run more then 1000 watts. i know some people can run 1000 on a stock alt and run 4ga with no issues.there is a few people that need to go all out and go with 1/0 and do the big three and battery up front or in your rear. just keep that inmind if u wana run some power u need to make sure u have everything set up. like the othere guy said its not hard at all. if u buy shity stuff u will end up f uckin your self over.
cool thanks for the advice, yeah ill look into the big 3 idea, i never knew that it was so complicated, atleast for me as of now.

its easy if u take your time,if your not sure of something please ask. im sure some one will help you. there is a lot of people that can b d-bags at times. like my self lol. just dont listen to them and just listen to the people that wana help. if i was not gona go to bed in like 5 min i would pm you all the top caraudio web sits and ****. i just got off work stupid unloading trucks.

if your dead set on buying your stuff from best buy because you get the discount I would go with the Rockford Fosgate 1000bd. IIRC it is similar priced on the discount and is one ohm stable. Pair it up with the type rs and go.
The employee price on the p1000 is like 280. Id take the audiopipe over that. Good price on the type Rs though.

You can get the rockford 4g wiring kits for 19 bucks there, pick up 2 of those and be done with it, itll be plenty for up to 2kw.

true i mean what if he just loves car audio and wants more. he should go with 1/0 ga . i think with out knowin what car or truck he has is hard for me to say get a 4g kit.

The rockford 4g will easily flow 100a each run. No need for 1/0 IMO if hes not running no more than 1-1.5k. Plus its expensive as ****.

If you mount the amp directly behind the seats on that hump youll have about 2ft of wire left from each run you can use to help with the big 3. Did a marquis the other day.

What are you saying? Im just trying to tell him that the rockford wire is good stuff. I have 2 runs in my car and have had no issues with power consumption or voltage loss through it. I think my 4g is fused for 120a from rockford, its thick as ****. Dont they usually fuse it for the max current?
