2 12" 05 type-r's

or

2 10" L7's

amps: Alpine MRD-M1005 for the type-R's and Hifonics bx1205d for the l7's

Type R's for SQ

L7s for SPL

too bad they have to be sealed.. b/c both subs sound better and louder in ported boxes..

Also.. wouldn't a Hifonics bx1205d be underpowering 2 L7's ?

I can't get kicker's tech page to work....

But IIRC the Type R has more excursion and just as much if not more cone area, which means they have the potential to be louder.
