treo subs are without a doubt great subs. they are definitly worth trying. the csx, if i am correct, is a sub specially designed for burps so for a daily sub i would stay away from it. the SSi or TSX are better choices for reliable daily drivers. what do you want to power these things with?

oh anyway, this is the csx. all treo subs look the same. some of the frames look different though.

But at Treoonline.com, they say the SSX is 68 mm X-max and the CSX is 72 mm. Does anyone know what the real xmax numbers are for these two subs??

300m-A friend of mine heard 1 treo 12 inch sub (lowest level one), and he said it was freakin loud, so imagine what an SSX or CSX would do.

That's the CSX. Not really something you want for daily, though.

Treo makes some nice drivers, but are a little overpriced IMO.

i was thinking of getting 2 15"s and powering them with usa-2000 to each v/c. but then i want the ssx sub's.

Same here-getting 1 treo ssx 18" Dual 2 ohm powered by a RF 20001bd amplifier in a net 4.5 cubic foot enclosure. Tech support at treo said 50 in^2 of port area for this sub.

Does anyone know about the xmax of the SSX or CSX? It can't be 68 mm??

SSX is a crazy sub extremely loud , their loudest daily sub ever . But at 600$ per sub I spoke with TREO on the phone. That is way over priced at like 400$ for a SSX I could handle but anymore jsut aint worth it . Now 2 18's you better pray you have a big vehicle for that box and enough 00 ought and 2 Alts b/c 2 2000X's will drain you bad . Also dont forget to sign up for a hearing aid plan .
