treo sub good?

I found a 10 inch treo sub on craigslist in a center console sub box and the guy said it rms at 2000 watts what model is that and are they good for 300 buck with amp and box? I have no idea it looks like a flea market special in the picture it said california editon and thats it. and think no one bought it cause it said trio instead of treo. And its a 10 inch

i dont think they were made for sealed boxes and it depends of what kind of power you give it, if i was you i would ask him to sell just the sub, then have someone build you a nice box

They are made for ported boxes and TONS of power. Make sure you get a pic of the back of the sub to try to get a model #. And what amp is it?

DBL... Also saw it and it is a Treo but, not sure which one. The amp looks real beat up. Get pics of the motor.
