Thats just the magazine articles take on it. Toyota probably just wants a "halo" top notch car thats sporty. Toyota sells good reliable gas saving cars, but they dont want a rep of selling boring, bland cars. So they need a sports car.I think its sad that Toyota's goal with this car is to knock the 350z off of its pedestal, when the Supra was originally designed to compete against the Skyline. I guess they finally realized that they would never match up.
N/A is BEST. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifv6 ftl.
i'm fine with it not being turbo though, n/a ftw
for power.... obviously. as far as enjoyment, for me its an easy choice. You do realize that all the fastest cars in the world use forced induction systems, right ?
Hell, back in the 80s when they were allowed to use turbos, F1 cars were making over 500 horsepower more than the current 3 liter naturally-aspirated V10s ... and they only had 1.5 liter engines !
Forced Induction > Natural Aspiration
It's a popular phrase among car enthusiast. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gifYou do realize that all the fastest cars in the world use forced induction systems, right ?

a scion doesn't belong in the same sentence as.thats just pure speculation. Toyota will not release a sports car. Hence, the disconutation of the celica, xrs, and mr2. They in to make profit and to sell cars to the mass market which are reliable GAS SAVING vehicles. And thats why they have a Scion line for the smaller sports/tuner market
