Touched sub wire to metal :(

Hey, so there i was pulling my sub box outta my truck and the sub speaker wire touched something metal and BAMMM!! i have speaker whinning and my subs are vibrating?? I have know idea whats happened all the fuses are still good and the amp didnt go into protection, not sure if its something in the headunit or ??????? iam so lost!! please help! I think you created a ground loop.

Less #1 is never do that when the system is on.

the subs are powered from an amp, correct? Sounds like you damaged the amp.

Are you getting whine from your highs or is it all from the subwoofers?

definitely damaged the amp...... what kind of vibrating? like a hum with the engine? pulsing?
