yea i agree that he should just keep the sub and get a new box. Maybe bigger or tune higher? I doubt you will lose that much sq if you tune a little higher. Why is everyone reccommending sq drivers when he says he wants more spl? whack

i'd try experimenting with some different boxes first. i know you previously stated that you didnt want to lose any sq, but increasing your tuning to 32-34 Hz may get you an increase in spl, without significant affects on SQ.
