I dont think the miata was built for the track lol, the ultima gtr, viper (track version), a hand full of porse gts and 911s were, not many street cars ever had the idea of hitting a track, just driving some overweight person around with a big mac and going to the supermarket hence the cup holders for your "purple drink".
I would stay away from the poorly engnered cars like the mazadas, vw, low end domestic stuff (i.e. anything that's not diesel or a vette/viper/gt40 etc).
A subie is a great car engineered very well
Honda and toyotas you really cant complain about, they are not anything special but they do seem to stay together even with the avrage person who doesnt take care of a car
If you want some flashy BS, get a slightly older diesel benz, there are some 90s and up diesel models that will get AWSOME miliage (on diesel, kersoine, wvo, svo, bio etc.)
You, sir, don't have the SLIGHTEST clue!
