Well I haven't played with the amp much yet but I was on my way to Lowe's to grab some stuff and a good a$ap song came on so I cranked it up and my fat thumb wanted to be in the pick I guess lol but ether way this is on the dash drivers side window down about 4" and I hit the bass and boom! Almost got a 150db out of it but not having the sub amp set yet I didn't want to turn it up anymore.... Dang my truck looked like it was falling apart lol

That was at 41hz. I just did a sweep and it peeks at 34 to 37hz. And sealed up on the dash on the way home i was doing 143/145db on just about every kinda song I played. And that's just bump in not at max so for 120$ worth of subs being able to play in the low to mid 140's is good in my book

But I am going to have to put a fan in my amp because its not rated to go below 1 ohm and I've got it at .7 so she gets hot after about 3 songs and no built in fan means she stays hot forever .

Well I had the SPL-lab on the dash for about 1hr in the sun but it's only like 78* so its not that hot in the truck but maybe it was enough to make it glitch? Idk but I did a 37hz burp on the dash both windows all the way down and got this

wow my guess was gonna be 148 btw.. thats just alot of work for those subs.. u spent $120 on subs and $5000 in your labor lol.. how much was wood materials and spray foam?

3 sheets of 7ply 3 small cans of resin in about 4 cans of spray So like 150$ for just the box lol

O yeah and the tubes for the ports floor decking screws liquid rubber for the bottom of the box and about a tube and a half of mp1 so about 180$

I know I put a lot of work into that box for a bunch of cheap crappy Subs but I like to build boxes on the side for extra cash and what better way to prove that a high-quality box really makes the sound system then to have a really good sounding sound system using really cheap Subs you know what I mean?

u are not wrong thats what i texted kid i'm helping with system today about your set up i said see that once again proves the box is everything.. wish u lived around here, i'd get u to make me a dual ported box for 2 pioneers firing into cabin i'd help and i'd pay $200 for it but can't pay shipping.. my neighbor makes niiiiccee boxes but he has lots of jobs and i don't wanta bother him need someone that likes stereos to work with me + i'd have to tell him exactly how to do everything and other than size and tuning idk how to fire into cabin and make it work.. heck i'd like the 1 i have fire front but box i have won't do it, does nothing facing front, turn it into truck the box gains like 80db weird man..

Nice work on the work truck Thor! Hey man, I've had issues with Photobucket too & after storing images on that site for years, I decided to migrate over to imgur.com & things have gone well. If you continue to have issues with PB, you might want to try an alternative.

Well time to play with the Rockville speakers !....#1 holly carp them 8" mids are beefy! DANG!... #2 ether I over looked something or they need to change the dimensions on there website because I ordered the 2" horn tweeters and they're NOT 2" lol the voice coil is 2" the dang tweeters are 4" ! Omg and like 5LB lol ... So being lazy I just cut out part of my door panels to fit all of these freakin oversized mid s and highs lol... FYI don't burn me I am making custom fiberglass pods for everything so it only looks ghetto for a week or two.. so give me a second to try to upload some pictures. Brb
