So far I like the DC's over the AQ's for sound quality. Much deeper richer lows that are just downright punishing. The box thats in there was 2 yrs. worth of testing with the AQ's so It's not surprising the q's proved louder in the box.

The DC's take more power longer for sure. Biggest draw back is mounting. You can't mount normally so you have to take the box apart if you have any problems.

Dont know about 10 in. but I was thinking 8. And or a straight center firing slot port. Either way I will have ea. sub on thier own split baffle

For those who don't remember I started with a 143 and a single 5k on a pr. of 10's. It took the better part of 1.5yrs but I found 150+.
