This AI sh1t is getting scary.

Wrong. Did you even read the f*cking article?
Doubt he did. If he did, he just cant comprehend higher level thinking.

Another thing I thought of was lie detection tests. It seems like this would be alot harder to trick than traditional lie detection tests.

This is far more advanced than controlling wheel chairs.

Decoding forward, back, left, and right is much easier and very specific vibration patterns and as such is much simpler than actually decoding the infinitely possible patterns that the tiny vibrations in your ears have when you "think".

If they develop a voice module, think of the possibilities it would have for deaf/mute people. They could now have a voice. Might **** for a husband that's had a deaf/mute wife for 15 plus years. But....
You know, I hadn't thought of that. Very good point.

The problem is he's not even half as smart as he thinks he is. It's so annoying when stupid people think they know everything.
everyone has their opinions snowflake

What about the fit hotties in yoga pants? its spring time now, and they are coming out.. Does that mean i get a citation everytime i think " OMG i wanna put my Dk in that!!"
That said, i went to walmart this morning.. I should have about 10 citations awaiting me
lmao... Thought fuck crimes.
Yeah, we'd all be in trouble with that one.

I can definitely see how it could lead to problems. I'm sure the tech will be downsized to a small chip and may be the beginning of a distant future where every human is required by the government to have said chip implanted at birth. AI would know your every thought, but of course it would only be used for "law and order".

Thatswutumsayin. That "for your own safety" BS that encroaches on your civil liberties.

Disclosure. People have been talking about the "suits, GOV, the man, secrete societies, illuminati, greys, little green men ect" using these weapons against them for years and everyone always writes them off as crazy lunatics.

Now MIT says they are making "breakthroughs" and everyone looses their minds.

Every time they unleash a new technology to the public, That means the probably had it and used for decades prior to this "new" release.
