I had the M6 series with the alum tweets pretty bright but you can use the crossovers to take them down a db or two. I would get the silk tweets if I were you and these comps take a good amount of power, 100 watts at least. I have not heard the others.

ill look into those thnaks. regardless of what i do i am trying to stay around -300 for front and rear...those orions look pretty serious,but how do they sound? and all of those are cheaper then the orions,except the diamonds

I own the crystal ssx 6's and they sound great. I have them in fiberglass doorpods and the midbass is quite impressive. But then again I only have 40rms going to them. The tweets dont get too harsh, but I have heard a few songs that were too much for me at high volumes. I would definatly recomend them. And if the tweet is too harsh you could make your own crossover and buy a nice set of silk domes. They have a lot more potential for midbass even with my profile that puts out 50rms, but the PG is just sooo much cleaner.

i am trying to be a cheap *** here. but i want good sound. are the orions that i can get 2 sets for under 300 better then the diamonds that are well over 300 do they sound 90+ dollars better? ill keep looking...thansk folks...
