you say back as opposed to have them facing front with the subs? interesting.
Well interesting weekend. I had a install shop around here do a 0 guage install for me because i didnt feel i was ready for doing it myself yet. (never changed the wiring in car) i didnt want to chance getting something wrong.
I wont say what place it was yet but i will be going there today after work and raising hell. One thing is for sure, i know how it should be wired for the most part by reading different materials but apparently they dont or they thought i didnt know what i was tlaking about and took advatage of me by doing a 1/2 azz job.
1. Alternator whine is some of the worst i have ever heard before. They ran the power line down the passenger side with the RCAs of the 4 channel amp
2. They charged me for battery placement, not a big deal but they never did it. They just sat the battery down in the compartment, no straps no nothing just sitting there on its side.
3. They never changed the negative to chasis wire on the battery to zero gauge.
4. I took a much in depth look at the invoice after i got pissed off and they charged me for 4 Stinger wire terminals and a couple feet of 4 gauge wire. I dont know why they would need 4 gauge wire, ecpecially when i had about 15 feet of it in my car already. another thing is i can only find 1 stinger wire terminal in the car and thats on the pos for battery. The on connected to the alterntor is one of the very cheap terminals, maybe 10 bux, not the 40 dollar stinger one.
in the event that they do not fix the car and refund me some money i will be posting the pics, name of the comapny, contacting their headquarters and sending the BBB a littel letter about them.
Right now in the car all that i s setup is 4 channel, 0 gauge (for most of the car) and a 2400 HC Bat.
Any opinions? Am i just being an azz or do i need to be explained that this is all right.
Another thing, they charged me out the azz.
