im not exactly new ya know... and i do have a fair grasp on what im

doing... i just keep having bad luck i guess...

Not implying that you don't know what you are doing. I meant that you have more limitations because of your trunk opening, space, etc.

Not to mention that your stock headunit could also be ruining your experience big time. A lot of stock headunits are EQ'd to death and block out a lot of frequencies to protect the stock speakers.

im definatly pissed about the headunit having all its climate

gizmos built in... not to mention that it is totally integrated

into the car... ive had HUs on my last 2 cars... grrr...

now im stuck with some garbage LOC and a crappy system...

re-q sounds like you should really be getting an avalanche soon

before your head explodes...

JL Audio recently started some product that is designed to fix all the crap that the stock headunits put out. I forgot what its called or exactly how it works, but I think its perfect for you. Hopefully someone can elaborate.
