I know a guy who was hitting I think 159 on the AC mic with two 12" p2's. So they do get very loud. And I would imagine the P3's will get even louder.

They are very great speakers. If you can find them lower than MSRP that would be a great buy.

You might not have been impressed but they can sound very good in a good install. Your friends install/car might have turned you off from a very good speaker.
