The purpose of a 10" sub

You must not have quality *** then. The last thing I think during *** is eating bagels. The other stuff is just roleplaying...and to me still ***.
So you do eat bagels afterwards? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I sometimes think of subs like a kick drum. The bigger the kick drum, the more reverborating skin tone (rolling sound) it will have after the initial impact. Smaller drums will come to rest quicker than a bigger drum. Same with a sub. Usually.

so what im gathering is that the only reason to own a ten inch sub is so that u can dress up in a monkey suite while eating bagels and having *** in a car that still goes with no key???? sheesh!!

well, i bought them because i figured the smaller size would be easier for the motor etc to handle and therefore be more crisp and clean. that was just physics talkin to me tho ... but if *** is involved ... gotta go with the 18 incher ....

by how slow like a second or so?
They're Fing with you, in case you didn't catch on. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

You said a statement which was false so they followed it with more...call it hazing if you will.

It's all in the motor. A sh*tty motor is still going to sound like a** be it a 10 or a 12, 15, or 18. Just like you can still get nice lows out of 10s, 8s, 6.5s even. Install dependant of course. Oh and speed between different sizes is a myth. A 18" will play the same notes as quick as a 10" with the same motor and suspension.

Learned something new 2day, thanks for that info.

one purpose of ten rather than a 12 15 or even an18 is that it moves faster... so for those who like house, rock, trance and stuff with a fast beat they would be better off with a 10 rather than lets say a 15.... my 12 cvx barely keeps up with house... well some but kicks A$$ with rap... so the type of music u like can also play a roll in what size sub u want aswell

Please stop. You are wrong. Subwoofer size does not determine how "fast" the speaker is.

The reason we have 10 inch subs is sometimes you have space requirements, or budget requirements, or you don't need to get as loud as a larger sub... etc etc.

I thought that part has already been addressed in this thread. The other parts are correct.
