Depending on your tuning, I would say the type R's could POSSIBLY have more output. They will also sound much better than a 15L7, from the L7's I have heard (which is only about 3 different set ups, and only one including a 15), I am yet to hear a decent amount of SQ. Even with rap, IMO, the L7's sound slightly sloppy. Again, it will be install dependant, but I would choose the Type R's.

2 12's would handle it like its nothing.... the bx1500 won't even put out 750 watts in a typical setup wired to 1 ohm... hmm, yes ive tested them.

I vote 4 15's... no question - best option here.

2 cube, 40hz... lol thats just all wrong. Depending on design, it MAY work... but it will have 0 low end.

Do us a favor. Before you finish a beaming cookie cutter type R review, beat the sh*t out of it for a while and make sure it can live long enough in a real world environment to make it worth the money.

if you're going for spl 2 memphis mojo 15's with 2 bx1500d on each, that will get you some sick dB's for being only 2 subs. heard 2 of them of a memphis mojo 2000d and was overall impressed very much with thier performance....they can take shit tons of power..... thats my 2 cents

in that situation, the m3's will be louder.
