umm alot of guys that know spl know spkrman and what he did at the show (even though it wasnt big) was pretty impressive. basically in under a days time he flipped around his set up had nothing to test it with (his meter died) and busted a 150 without even knowing what his best frequency was. in another days time he could have made it prepared for either street b or c and im sure he could have done at least as good and probably better. basically he knows enough were he can get what he wants with little effort as opposed to alot of guys i know and if you want me to be honest for what you get even if he wanted to charge 400 per box per woofer it would be worth it. you might say "dang that is expensive" but from what other proven spl shops charge to get the same results and maybe worse costs alot more. does his box look as mean or weigh 360lbs? maybe or maybe not (depends on the vehicle) but the results are pretty unargueable. at most local comps his boxxes would net you a top 2 or 3 at least even if you live in hard hitter heaven.

imo my type-r sounds better then a dub 7

the dub 7 setups ive heard WERE ALL muddy sounding. ported/sealed/professional/ameteur.

my single swr in a .7 cu ft enclosure with a JL 500/1 its playing at 2/3 volume and 1/2 gain on the amp.

my digital cam **** at taking video.

but you get the idea.

im sure youll like this sub. its way louder then my old Roford fosgate, there is soo much excurtion on this sub, but this video doesnt capture it the way it should.

im a change the settings on my camera and see if i can get more frames per second. for a better video of it.

Im going to install a Type R or two for my buddy in a few months. I hope it lives up to the hype everyones giving it right now. I like the way the surround looks during excursion.

thats a pretty nice amp. for a single 12", man that thing is going to rock. what box is the sub in?
i dont regret buying this sub at all, at plays so loud and is very clean, all you hear is bass and the car rattle.

I'm sure if you power them right and put them in a well tuned box, they are going to move some massive amounts of air.
