alrite...for the type r u know how much cu.ft the box has to be? i want sealed for sq

for sealed do it at like .60-.90 if you want it SQ. but if you want it a lil louder , do say 1-1.25

to tell u guys the truth....i was at a sound off this past sunday .and let me tell u.......a few cars with alpine type r 12's pull up and each of them hit good numbers....the lowest was 147.2db's ..and that was in a scion xbthe highest score was 150.8db's and that was in a walled off honda accord with 4 type r 12's and 2 memphis mojo amps

I was thinking about doing an install with them since I can get them for dirt cheap from my store, but everyone has them, so im just going to do an treo install next.

I am getting two 12" Type R's and was going to get a viper 1200.1 but it is sold out. I have the option of getting a viper 2500 though. Would this be too much to push to the type R's? They are 500 rms a piece but say 1500 max and the amp pushes 2500x1 at 2 ohm stable. The amp is like 2700 max output so I think that might be pushing the subs a little too much?

Just wire the subs to 4 ohms, and you will be fine. It will be pushing around 1200w RMS. Set the gain CORRECTLY, and you should be fine.

Get the DVC 4 ohm coil config of the Type R's, and wire them like this to the amp:
