Dude, any reason all the power wire is different colors? Seems that the driver's side alt has two grounds (one on the bracket, one on the alt).

Nope, it has one ground.

Coming off the charging lead on the Driver's side (HO Alt), there are TWO runs of 1/0 to the rear D31 Optima Yellow Top.

I know it doesn't matter, just thought he would have just bought a 50 foot roll of the same color or something like that.

Needs a little polishing (zip ties and the battery picture are a bit sketchy).

For the cheapo looking install...

I did most of this install including the alts and wiring the trunk in 2 evenings almost completely by myself...

I wanted the stuff in and done. I'll make it pretty later. The car has ~240,000 miles on it and really doesn't look that great either. I'm not expecting to win any pretty awards. just about everything I have will transfer to the next car I'm getting.

And for the different color of wire... I know what each wire does just by looking at it no second guessing... so I have no reason to spend anymore money just to get the jackets matching.

All in all, i just don't care how it looks right now, as long as it performs, that's all that counts.
