That is a really hard one. If you know an electronic repair person, they could tell you exactly what each circuit goes to.

If you were not aware, the canbus/data bus wire controls the functions of the amp. Functions like the volume, balance, fade, etc...

I thought canbus was just for chimes. In that case, outside of their OEM install that makes those amps paper weights.

Canbus is a type of data transfer. Yes, if his car does not have the proper coded canbus, this amp is better used as a paper weight or doorstop.
