Just relax. Take that ply wood off. Finish going up with 2x4 like you are on the passenger side. U can use a piece of ply wood for the top. It will come together

If you where closer to me I'd help you build it for sure

I already started cutting the 2x4's up.....either way I'm f ucked and now i dont have any money for more wood and i just wasted like $200 in wood.....just my luck....
Sounds like you need some meds to claim down. You cutting things up before thinking things through

There's some sitting on top of papermakers microwave lol

Yeah I have a bad anger problem. I didn't cut the 2x4's up completely. just went through the backside about 5 times with the saw. I think I can still salvage it. Hopefully....I'm going to put some fiberglass over the cuts on the back. I see your guys' walls and everyone else's and they look amazing. Then again everyone elses vehicles aren't as curved as mine on the inside. So it makes it a hell of a lot easier cause most of it can be squared up. I'll post a picture of what I have done so far and the damaged I did last night....with literally no friends and a girlfriend that hates bass I tend to get depressed and pissed off quite easily. And I lose motivation and the will power to want to accomplish anything. Even though I'm extremely independent and I don't like to ask for help as far as physical help like building stuff because I see it as you can depend on nobody but yourself. But anyways I'll post what I have so far.

No old guys in your neighborhood that are into wood working ? We are an awesome resource lol, I would help you if you were here in a min. I even have one and I am old and a carpenter and he is older wiser and a cabinet maker. But you gotta be patient as us old guys work slow. If you dont just get back at it and start by cleaning everything up and thinking about what you need to do. Stop when you start getting frustrated and take a break. And give yourself a break it is your first time building and you are learning as you go !

Very true....i agree you guys are a very good resource no doubt about that lol. And i appreciate every bit of it to the fullest....so do you think i could get away with using just the 2x4's IF i fiberglass the whole inside and round over the corners?

Glassing should strengthen it even more and not just cover the cuts.

Rounding corners help airflow, but it's just extra work in the end.

Ok i took a break...i feel better lol....this was an idea that crossed my mind....not that im going to do it I was just curious and want some input....to round the corners easier couldnt you use pvc pipe and cut it down the middle so it's half and glue them into the corners to round them over? Oh and also do you guys think it would be worth hooking this up?........i had it laying around, ive never hooked it up, it was given to me for free

i wouldnt.

Fiberglass is a hell of a lot of work

And expensive to do properly

I would just spend the $50 on wood when it comes time and paint it

It will look nice and work well

Wanna post a picture of the back

Maybe someone on here will have a good way to fix it

You dont have to round the corners just use ply to make 45s. I've gained everytime I glassed.. keep the sawdust and mix it with the glass as a filler.. you don't need the mat fyi. You just want to coat it twice. First a fill layer. Let it dry really good than a layer to seal and smooth everything out.

I've used as high as 1 to 2 ratio volume wise. 1 to 3 is better though.
