Telling if a sub is blown by touching? RE

I know that there is no way for the sub to have gotten frozen up during shipping, so I dont know if he is making it up, or if he damged it. I would never sell a sub that was blown unless it was advertised as such. The guy is not blaming me, but he is saying that FedEx did it, which is obviously not possible. If he really wants me to do it, I will file the Claim, but dont think he will get much out of it. Thanks Again.

Bump- I want everyones opinion on this. The damage that he is describing does not seem like it could be caused by shipping. I agree with everyone on that. I know I sent the sub in perfect condition, as I used it up until the time I sold it and it was 100%. Thanks Again everyone.

i once had a rockford punch z sub that accidently fell down and the magnet slipped and bent the coil.

perhaps the same incident here?

i know it is 100% possable for this to happen as it happened to me.

I understand how that would happen, but the way this was packaged, if they dropped it, the magnet would not ht hard. There was bubble wrap all around and underneath the sub, peanuts and newspaper all over, and support under everything at the bottom of the box, and then that box was inside another. Also it would be hard to drop this box from very high considering the outer dimensions were 20"x20"x20" and it weighed exactly 50 lbs.

There is a difference between a 'blown' sub and a 'broken' sub. FedEx can't 'blow' a sub, as in... burnt VCs, they can only break it. If its 'broken' then file a claim.
