System weight in small cars?

Is 150 lbs gonna be too much for the trunk of a Yaris? I'm not sure if the shocks will handle it.

well there is a big difference between putting a 150 lb person in the back seat rather then the trunk. it drops a pretty significant amount (around 3"?) with somebody sitting on the bumper. it drops about 1" with a 150 lb person in the back seat.

oh well, the system is going in regardless. if the shocks wear out quickly or the ride quality suffers significantly looks like i'll just be buying some better shocks.

the ride aint pretty but hey it bangs so can't comlain and it just keeps on ticking with over 160,000 on the clock

You may want to reinforce the floor of your trunk with a 1/4" or 1/2" thick oak board over the wheel well if your box doesn't fully clear it.
