System on a budget, what are your thoughts?

Work overtime. Play for Dynamat or Secondskin or whatever, the big 3, and batteries first if necessary. This can add up to some cash in and of itself. Work some more overtime, then buy your system piece by piece.

It'll take a little longer, but you can get what you want in the long run.

Just my 2 cents, worth maybe 1 cent.

P.S. I go to work at 5 am vs. 7 am, work 8 hours Saturday, and 8 hours Sunday when they let me. Overtime adds up, and what else would I be doing? I'd rather be making money than sleeping or watching TV!

Seriously, it's cheaper in the long run to wait a few months and get what you really want than it is to blow your load then replace it with what you really want. Been there, done that, with both guitar gear and bass gear.

What you want will be there when you save the green to pay for it, and you will have that much more pride in what you have.

Just an old man's 2 cents, as always worth about 1 cent.

The problem is that you can't have it all. It's either buy new and have a crappy to OK system or buy used and have an OK to good system. It's even harder being that you're budget is a bit on the low side. Everything listed is junk IMO except for the Type R, MBQ amps, and RSD subs, but that's just my opinion.
