Suggest a sub

Hey guys my friend has finally finished his front stage in his 97 dakota ext cab, and is now wanting to add in a substage. he wants them to rattle the shit out of you but still sound nice, so i would say a little more spl then sq.

He is willing to sacrifice the entire back of the truck to a box.

He really wants dual 12's but I'm not sure if they would fit. (hdc312s to be exact)

What would you guys recommend for subs?
