subwoofer distortion help meee

ok...what makes you think that your mentally challenged *** is going to be louder using such a small amp on 2 larger speakers....grow up young buck and learn that you have to spend money to be loud.

why do you keep calling the amp small when it puts out more than the rated power my subs can handle?

maybe you should ask everyone that same question you just asked....i'm only getting distortion when playing 30-40hz notes....all this long *** thread and he still argues with everything someone advises him to do....thats why you are a noob....cuz you cant learn anything with your mouth open.

sorry i don't feel like reading this whole thing. I'm not sure what problems you're still having, but I can probably meet up with you to try and give you some help if you still need it, I go to allentown all the time.

What was being said earlier is that especially if you plan on running bigger subs, you need an amp with more output to move them, that's the only way you're gonna get louder.

okay well what was it that everyone has told me to do to solve that? are you referring to crossover settings or something? enlighten me now

thank you UNDEAD...i've been telling this noob to try and find someone in PA from this thread....and ask for help....he keeps sayin that no one knows any more than him.

and those subs are rated at 400 rms....your amp is 750...so how is 750>800....where did you go to school....i'm sure they educated some genius's there.

yes you will your amp is most like ****ered from all the clipping already. if you want an amp to pound those subs just buy a new amp! save alot of money and get a hifonics 1210d it does 900 rms at 2 ohm and will trash a 750.1 all day I'll sell you 1 bnib 1 yr factory authorized warranty for 230 shipped.

yes yes i know thats why im getting a second amp, each big enough to run each seperate sub seperately

sic...dont worry about it....he wants to use the amp that has been overworked and clipped and now is damaged...to run some more bigger subs...and "he'll be louder" but in reality he'll be right back here asking whats wrong with my setup....i cant figure it out....help me

would you shut the **** up already quit posting on her if you just want to be a little *****. by that i meant when im not sending my amp into clipping its quiet as shit so im gonna upgrade to two fifteens and i wont have to ****in clip the amps to make it loud
Ok, here's a potentially silly question, but if things sound so muted at your subs, is it possible there is a setting in your deck that could be causing this? You know, something like a delay or a music "effect" setting that is cutting the output of the subs deliberately?

noo im runnig it at 2 ohms
alright well that's good at least. well if you want to meet up sometime i can help trouble shoot this. It's either the amp or the box. we can test your subs on my amp to see if it's the the subs or your amp. And I'll bring stuff so we can test it out without your head unit.
