its not a kicke rbox its mtx ha but alright i could make a box if that will help. ive only ever made sealed boxes tho never ported but ive been trying to read up on that for the tuning frequency for the port and shit

so then if he has an mtx box with kicker subs how do we know either way the box is worth a crap? it is amp or box I think.

Well I don't actually get my license til next week. So either the weekend of the 16th or 23rd might work. I have family in Allentown/Bethlehem so if you could meet me somewhere around there that would make it easier. I live in York so its a 2 hr drive just to there.

maybe 800 watts rms is just not as loud as i want it to be... i mean i know its like nothing at all but i always thought it was a decent amount..

This may be true, but it still doesn't explain why you're hearing noise. But that noise could be due to gains too high originally thinking it should be louder.

Erm... He has MTX dual 12" subs in an MTX built box (bought as a package) and a Kicker power amp.

Well my grandma lives in Hellertown, and my aunt is like between allentown and bethlehem (some little township i forget the name of). So anywhere near bethlehem should be good.
