Sub won't play. Need help.

So I just rebuilt an hdc with psi soft parts d2

I have a dd m2b I put my smd dd1 and set my gains then I plugged in my speaker wires and tried to play a song and nothing.. could it be my rca voltage is to low my sub is messed or what any tips will help.

Did you solder and connect your leads? I have seen that before.... why I ask. If you set your gains with a dd1 it has to be seeing some sort of signal to check for distortion. Sub moving at all?

Yes I soldered my leads and heat shrunk them sub has no movement speaker wire is hooked up fine. If I built it wrong too I would still move or make a noise.

Ohm out your coils to double check. Hook another speaker up to your amp. See what voltage your amp is putting out. Depending on the head unit is the subwoofer switched on? Turn the subwoofer level up on your head unit. What unit is it? Rca's connected on both ends? Amp definately is powered on? Didn't leave raw speaker wires in your trunk off the amp while you waited on the recone? Check check check.

I hooked it up to my speaker amp and my sub played just fine..

Yes everything is connected my rcas work my headunit is set for subwoofer my rca worked in my mids and highs. So did my sub both sets of rcas that is. But it read the dd1 and let me tune it so idk this is freaking weird

So onto the other questions. What head unit? Try and use the rca's from the other amp into your m2b. Eliminate the amp first. Then move onto source

I believe the dd1 reads distortion down to .15v so the amp could be jacked and putting out a very weak distorted signal.

I have a kenwood mp342u 2 volt rca output but it says in the m2b booklet that I should work on .8v rca that is

Yes, it should. Amp should be picking up something.

Always a possibility but eliminate that option first

I plugged the sub and rca into my mids and highs amp and it worked fine. That being said this amp is broken I think I'm gonna open the back and make sure a little solder didn't come undone.

If anyone knows of someone who could repair amps could you give me their contact info. Sent dd an email too.

100% the led on the amp is green and it's getting volts from my power wore 14.44 I think
