BAd choice, while they do drop lower than any subwoofer available, they are ment to be ran with a conventional sub aswell because the lack of upper bass frequency. Furthermore they wont handle anywhere near 1000 watts each.

Maybe you should try reading my response, because I addressed all those points already.

They are actually rated at 150 watts, but they are an 8 ohm driver. PG recopmmends using a 300 watt @ 4 Ohms amp to run them. You can alway turn the gains down...

The point of tuning a box is so the subwoofer can play down to that frequency and not unload (due to mechanical limits). It will play lower notes but A. It wont be as loud. B. It can unload and blow the cone. Thats why the subsonic filter is usually set to the area that a ported box is tuned to. So it slopes down the frequencies below it so it wont unload. I wouldn't recommened tuning more then 35hz for any box unless ur competeing.

Look for more sq oriented subs. LIke mentioned before the jbl gti is a nice choice. Both the bl, and the sx arent exactly ment to be crazy low end drivers.

I would say in the right box anything can get low.... my 10" drops sick lows imo... TL says 140 from 30-36hz owns from the trunk on a single xenon x600.1.... anyone here got that beat? no equalization or LFE enhancers of any kind...
