sub suggestion?

Alright, i have a 2001 ford exolorer sport. I want a little extra bump, and dont want to sacrifice much room or cash for that matter. I've seen the thunderform for them in person and i am pretty confident i can build my own for cheaper. I was planning to build it for a ten and fill it with poly fill. What would be a good choice in a 10, that has fairly high output and mounts shallower than 5.5 inches?

I'm not a big fan of Blaupunkt but, they do sell a shallow mount sub for tight spaces. Otherwise, go to an online dealer and read the specs on subs by reputable companies.
