Sub start sounding before components

Is that normal? I've noticed that with at least 1 CD, my subwoofer starts playing before the components. This has never happened to me before so I wonder if its normal, and if its not what should I look for? Bad wiring?

Sub amp coming on before you front speaker amp does is my guess. Mine does that, no biggie...
