i have a 99 accord coupe which is similar to yours and the cars are easy to get loud. i found that you get more output if the subs fire up with port firing out towards trunk. If you want decent output but nothing too expensive try around 1000rms with somthing along the lines of aq sdc2.5 12, fi ssd 12, dc level 4 12... in around 2.5 cubes. no expert but just my 2 cents

With running 2 sa-8's, would you say 1.2 cubes at 30 hz would be my best bet? Mind you its for daily bump. I'm not burping or anything, but I want it to get loud. Primary music is hip hop, but a little of everything is listened to.

you might get louder with a little higher tuning but from what ive heard those sa 8s will get lowww. i always tune low anyways.

anywhere between 30-32 and youll be fine

and you wont be sad about going with the 8s
