Sub stage for beater car

Thinking about putting a sub or subs in my daily driver/beater car. Need some ideas. The car is a 95 Sunfire with almost 200,000 miles, but it runs really good.

I think I wanna do one 12 and maybe an amp with around 500-600 watts. I dont wanna spend a ton of money but I will drop a little extra cash if needed. So, whats your ideas for a low budget sub and amp setup?

I bet you could put 2 powerbase subs in there with a used amp

and have a cheap effective little system going.

I think I saw two 10" subs selling for like 70$ shipped on the fourm here somewhere.

if your realley in to sound - tear out the back seat - and use the trunk space to make a box - and have sub and box port facing in the cabbin of the car. would be sick.

3-4 hundred. I wouldnt even consider calling a 3-4 hundred dollar sub stage sq or spl but I guess I am more sq oriented.

Craigslist is your friend. There's always someone looking to dump a cheap sub setup on them. Find one that is still in the seller's vehicle so you can verify it works. Good luck!
