Sub Setup Sugestions?

My litttle brother has bought him a new truck. It's a Chevy Silverrado standard cab. He has already ordered him a nice Kenwood Excelon double din head unit. DPX-701 He doesn't much room behind him for a sub. I was wondering what you guys think of a sub setup that would work for him. Any sugestions on what I could tell him would be apreciated.

I have the same Kenwood head unit in my 2005 Silverado regular cab with a 12" Rockford Fosgate sub behind the seat. I eneded up putting it in a regular plain jane sub box I got from millionbuy.com. That along with Kenwood Excelon speakers up front and in the side cab and a 5 channel amp and I am very satisfied witho how it sounds.
