Hey Guys

I've decided to try and make a custom enclosure for my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. It will be an MDF base wrapped in fiberglass, housing a JL 500/5 amp and 2 JL 8w3v2.

How do you guys feel about putting a terminal cup in the amp tray?

ummm you totally beat me to my own design. I was gonna make a box almost exactly how you are (only for 2 12's and 2 amps but the jist is the same) for the back of my tundra. Buuuut since you beat me to it, go ahead and finish it so I can get a better idea of how to do mine.

Seriously looks real good though. Can't wait to see some glass on that. Just out of curiousity, how come you didn't angle the rings like in the "initial design" pic...that's how I was gonna point mine too. So I'm wondering why you decided against it.

it looking very nice and clean. should make a small hole on the bottom of the amp rack run the wires trugh there and seal them up from the bottom of the amprack with black silicone, that way you hide the seal, and hides the wires. to keep the clean look going.

looks very good so far.
