Sub "pops" after I kill the ignition

I just installed my AQ1200 and my HDC312 tonight, and whenever I turn the car off, a few seconds later there is a "thud" in my trunk. The sub pops real fast. Any idea what could be causing this?

At first I thought it was a bad ground, but it can't be since everything works, right?

Your radio is turning off before your amp is. You want your amp to power off before your input signal is cut. What kind of car do you have? Does your head unit stay on after you turn your key off (Gm vehicles)?

happens in my jeep everytime. its horrible if i forget to turn my remote gain down first. not sure how to fix it, but it doesnt seem to really be causing any problems. at least that im aware of.

One more thing. Does the pop still happen if your RCAs are unplugged?

If you have a equalizer hooked up that will cause it and I am not sure why. You can hook the eq to a relay and that will fix it.
