I have a zapco reference 200.2 running a set of mb quart qsc 216's in the doors and a set of boston neo type m tweeters in the pillars. My problem is the amp will just shut off on certain songs with alot of guitar and drums in them. It doesnt do it at moderate volume levels just when its above 25 or so on my pioneer 8600. It will do it every time on the beginning of money for nothing when the drums start to go, it will turn off and then if you turn the volume back down it will come back on. sometimes it will play with the volume all the way up and it sounds great there is no distortion. My gains ar set maybe a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the way up. Also I hust had the symbilink go bad on me so i have been running it of rcas for now. It will also shut off on other songs but its not as much. I have checked all my connections everything is fine and i get an ohm reading right at 4 ohms so thats not to low. Also Im running my memphis 500d and the zapco off of a 20 farad tsunami cap that has a current draw readout on it and when i had just been running the 500 off it at 0 volume it would always read 0 current draw but with the zapco hooked up it seems to be always drawing 2 or 3 amps. When the zapco off it reads 0 amps. I cannot seem to find whats wrong other than something bad inside of the zapco. Thanks for any help.
