Sub. Problems

I've had two 600 watt max Rockford Punch 12's wired to a 1500 Gothic Series amp, and have never had a problem, until now. In the beginning I had no power cap. and everything was fine, then my bf put one in, but I recently took it out, everything is wired the same as I had it before, except now my bass sounds like crap, cuts out a bit, and is very low. Also, I am having problems with my blinkers, but only when the problem with the bass persist. Any ideas?

Check your fuses, double check your wiring, and perhaps check your ground.

To be honest, i'm not overly sure tho

If it ain't broke...

Do you own a DMM (digital multimeter)? If not, go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get one. See what kind of voltage you're getting at the amp...

Where is the gain set on the amp? Could be a reason for the low volume and awful sound.

L.O.L^^^^ it maybe your alternator when my bass cut or my car lights would blink bad with the bass low!well when i took it too sears thay said it was the alt.Well now i got a 80amp atl instead of a 70amp alt[;&gt.
