What's up all...i'm a newbie....but i now some stuff...here goes

I got a question regarding sub. I see some people install them facing up and other have them facing down.

Like the setup in this pic has it going down. What the sound difference and advantages and disadvanteges of having it like this?

Would you just have to keep the same volume and then just inverse the speaker? I'm still a little confused. Keeping the same volume but inversing the sub will keep the same sound quality?

when you inverse mount a sub you have to wire it in reverse polarity and you make the box smaller to equal out the fact that the driver isn't in the box.
