Sub performances @ MECA World Finals

what about drive by, what was working then. 12 subs and 2 amps?
Same thing happened.. He was hitting like in the 132's, and 2amps went into protect which dropped him to 12's subs and his score went back down to a 128dB.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i believe it went from Ken, to Rick, then discussed with Steve. then it was brought to Mike Huff. it was about an hour and a half later. then it took some time to stage the re-runs because drive-by had started.

Finals is always an emotional time and not every one can win 1st place.

This does not diminish an entire season of hard work, big scores and a lot of fun.

Ok, maybe we can all put this topic to rest.

An error was made, it was acknowledged and we can all look forward to another great season.

Michael Huff has always been a stand up guy and has supported Autotek honorably for several years.

We wish him continued success in the future and I'm sure we will see some big numbers from him in the new season to come.

So you finally admit to being wrong or what? By the time it was finally protested and the judges had the time to discuss it and make a ruling on it, it was late in the day. Nobody is admitting otherwise, but blaming the 6 dB loss on the blazer sitting there for a couple hours is ridiculous. Everything was working fine during the 2nd run. What huff did on the ROE forums was just poor sportsmanship. He has nobody to blame but himself. If I had done a 160 during my final S1 run, I would have said something is up because I know d*mn well that my truck was capable of a 154 and that's it. Huff took it upon himself to act like he had that number all along when that was hardly the case.

The meter at KY state finals was 2 dB high, this was said by nearly ALL MECA competitors at finals except, of course, MD.

The blazer did a 158 the first day of MECA finals, right where the score has ALWAYS been. The 164.8 was and always will be a fluke number. The 158.9 is the LEGITIMATE number that blazer does.

And FYI, for driveby he didn't have only 12 subs working. They blew 6 subs during the run which caused the amp problems.

So now STFU on the situation because it's pretty d*mn clear you don't have a clue about what you are trying to defend.

not yet...im still waiting on the replacement BTL. I do have my 20.1 now for daily. But we have yet to get a 40.1 on it only because of lack of subwoofage. when It gets here (later this week) give me a few weeks with it on my 20.1 @ .35 and then Ill make the drive over to dallas and see if I cant use on of my teammates (DJman37) 40.1s just for a test to see what the BTL can do.

Dont really feel like arguing with kids like you all day. My point was to show there was more to this 158.9db than was said and i'm done. Arguing with you all week isnt exactly in my agenda and never will... There's plenty of time next year to show what that truck will do

FYI i didnt say they all werent working i said the amps went into protect in the last secs and dropped his score.

Justify what you want with what you want from this point on, I'm sure you'll find a way..

You said MULTIPLE times that the 158.9 was done with 2 amps and 12 subs, which is completely false.

We aren't talking about driveby here. Driveby was a completely different situation where he blew 6 subs and then had amp problems.
