I'm pretty sure it can be done in the right enclosure and fart frequency, i would

have to say it wouldnt neccessarily be the best for the sub. The sub would take

the power thermally and possibly would bottom out alittle. The main point of

posting that is because the sub took a beating when he did it and were not

damaged, not to say everyone if you have a 10kwatt system, buy them and do it.

I just believe alot of people, you especially, took it entirely too literally. I'm pretty

I'll post the same thing in here that i did on ROE.

It was a SENSOR MALFUNCTION. End of story.

You don't gain 7 dB's by doing NOTHING. That blazer is capable of a 158-159 and thats it. The sensor at KY state finals was 2 dB high and this has been PROVEN by MANY people. The blazer's second run of 158.9 was the real score and huff knew it. He knew that 164.8 was completle bullshit but instead blamed steve stern (the president of MECA) and autotek (the company who makes the amps he used) for screwing him over. All the while it was a meter malfunction.

Huff was just trying to pass the blame as to why his scores sucked while in the end it was his own doings that caused such things.

If you can recall they already did a 160dB @ MECA KY state finals 2weeks prior to MECA WORLD Finals with the truck turned off, bringing your maraculous 7dB leap of faith almost in half, down to 4.8dB with some sand-bagging change. During the 158.9 they actually lost two of the amps, and 12 of the subs. So in actuality they did the 158.9 with (12)Sidewinder12's and 2 Autotek4000s.

 

At the competition Micheal Huff hit the 164.8 and they called it mic malfunction 3 hours later at the comp after the same score was verified and congradulated.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif hmmmmmmm, no problem with the mic now? I guess 3hours later is easier to tell if there was a mic malfuction in a single spl score.

About 2 hours AFTER i posted the results for the competition. This is when they forced him to do a unprepared repass and hit a 158.9 which they counted with half of the system playing.

 

As far as the amps, i dont blame him for blaming the amps, because i've had probs with the Autoproteks Micheal Curry, Huff and many others from our team have had numerous problems from the amps. the KY mic was 2db high, so, they actually hit a 158.0 at that show.

honestly, i like mike, so i'm not bashing. he had no clue where that gigantic score came from.... no one on the team did. trust me, i was standing right next to them when that 164 popped up.
