Sub not working please help

when you turn on your meter, at least on my fluke it says 0L. depending on the person using the instrument some ppl might mistake that for a 0 ohm reading.
I just hooked my fluke up to the sub again and it does say 0.L so what does that mean?

My phone is loading slow so I thought that I didn't post it my bad and so if I have an open coil it's done?
Yes, it's done. And you're correct that it doesn't really matter whether its an opened or shorted coil... it's still toast.

When you replace these subs, please make sure that you either have someone with the correct tools set your gains or that you have someone help you along with the process, as that's the single most common reason why speaker coils get roasted... "that" being improper gain settings on the amplifier.
