I'm running JL 500/1v2 with a 12w3v3 with a line out converter(Scosche Loc80 2-Channel Adjustable Lineout Converter).
I've tested with a brand new LOC, different RCA cables, checked the radio fuses. Tried amp-rca-3.5mmjack - music player and it hits how it usually does. Everything is hooked up correctly since it still hits hard when plugged straight into my phone.
I've tested pretty much all I could now I am thinking it could possibly be my subwoofer wires. I wrapped them in electric tape, but possibly they could of had touched. I remember I tried to adjust the bass/treble/mids but it went haywire. I have yet to test out the voltage, what volts should it be at?
Is it possibly the that the subwoofer wires short circuit and that is the reason why the subwoofer does not hit as loud? If they touched they wouldn't be showing any signs of bumping though right? Also if I was to tap into one of the door speaker wires would that still be the same as tapping into the subwoofer wires?
Thanks for your time.
