To end it all, I'll just say that it's your money and if you want to use it to buy subs and destroy them, that's your business.
However, you don't have to destroy something to "push it to it's limits". I know competitors who have set multiple records with the same equipment for several years simply because they have the good common sense not to play volume master and blow their **** up.

I've probably built and tested more enclosures in the past six months than you have in your whole 10 years of car audio experience......and strangely enough, i did it without breaking anything.

PS: If you're hitting high 150's, i'll eat my f***ing SE with ketchup.

I got a favour from a friend to measure my shyt, cux my friend and not me inisted that I was hitting in the 150's. I personally did not believe I was doing so. I was hitting 156 with an Audio Control Mic. What... u think I didn't abuse the sub fer nothing.

As fer taking care of my shyt. I honestly thought the sub was going to within stand the onslaught of 1200 watts. I asked around to make sure I would not be blowing it. But obviously it did. I do not go out there to purposely trying to blow subs. I get pissed when they blow but it's not actively something I do. I just like my low fq loud

Not to be a prick, but the only way you could have blown that woofer on a bp1200 is to distort the f*ck out of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I feed my modded se's a d2 all day long (sometimes a mojo when I'm feeling saucy ) and they have no problems at all. I suggest killing the bass boost and just adding more power. You'll get alot more usable output that way and won't have to worry about blowing anything.
